• in the Trinity - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit
• that God the Father made the world and us, and rewards those who earnestly seek him
• that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that he was a man as well as God, was crucified, resurrected from the dead and resumed life in his body, and bodily ascended into heaven
• that the Bible is the inspired work of God
• that salvation is by grace through faith
• that we become a Christian when we believe, choose to adopt a lifestyle of repentance, and submit to being baptised
• that at baptism our sins are forgiven, we become members of the family of Jesus and the Holy Spirit comes to live in us

As a result of these beliefs, we:

• strive to love God with all our heart and soul and mind and strength
  in particular we strive to grow in knowledge and understanding of the Bible, to pray, to grow in personal righteousness, and to submit to and trust in God's will for our lives
• strive to know Christ
  in particular we strive to ever more deeply understand the gospel and have Christ-centred preaching in services
• strive to love our neighbours as we love ourselves
  in particular we strive to live in peace with everyone, support and encourage Christian marriages and families, and give to and care for the poor and needy
• strive to share our faith
  in particular we strive to help non-believers come to know and love God
• strive to love each other as Jesus loved us
  in particular we strive to meet together regularly to worship God, pray, hear the Word and share the Lord's Supper; we also strive to build close and spiritual relationships within the fellowship, to help each other grow in faith and righteousness, and contribute our time and money in service of the fellowship. We also strive to keep the unity of the Spirit with other like-minded congregations, and to be a bridging church in this regard.
